I am so glad to read this. Congratulations on your one year anniversary, and even more, finding happiness where you are. Thank you for the post. Wishing you joy.
"Following your passion takes courage, especially if you don't see the results as quickly as you'd like." I just thought of you, Julian of Norwich, when I read these lines. I'm reading Talk Like Ted: The 9 Public Speaking Secrets of the World's Top Minds. I'm on the chapter entitled, "Unleash the Master Within" which describes with many examples and details how Tedtalk speakers use their passion to convey their big ideas worth sharing. The writer of this book, as well as many of the greatest TED speakers, have followed their passion. I just finished reading your post. This is the line that struck me about your writing: "I wanted to get the point across that the life you desire is real!" This is the reason why this first chapter struck me as being about "meliorism." Please remember what we talked about at lunch on your last day. I'm writing for you to write.
Hi Julian of Norwich! I haven’t finished reading your entire blog post on being a “monk” yet, but I loved how you wrote letters to yourself. I think Zen would say that you’re noticing the impermanence of the self or the story of the self. I like the way Zen says hold yourself lightly… you seem to be doing that in the attitude that you adopt in the post. I’ll be back to read more!
Thank you for this ravenous fire you have built for us all to be warmed by.
Committing to realizing one's self for the benefit of all beings is not something to take lightly, nor something to be celebrated.
May you offer the undying love of the Christ to every person, every being, in every moment, for your entire life.
May the Creator sustain you in this noble effort, as has been the case all along.
I am so glad to read this. Congratulations on your one year anniversary, and even more, finding happiness where you are. Thank you for the post. Wishing you joy.
Thank you, Melissa. The love and encouragement you share fill my heart. I feel your presence so near.🤍
❤️ love this and you

Timely... I was writing when I received this. Indeed, not quick. Thank you for the encouragement. I am listening...
